Trying to extract key from 79FK

Well I just received my Elite and it's got a 79FK. Now I was going to order an MS25 or a 0059, but I am having trouble getting the original key off the 79FK. I booted with Slax and the drive is seen in Windows. I am trying to run the Maximus Firmware Toolbox to get the key off of it for the new drive. Unfortunately, the key that it supposedly is pulling is blank. Are there special steps to take to just get the key? I have searched and searched but been unable to find a definitive answer to this. Thanks in advance for anyone's help. :?

You can't. You need to have the tsop desoldered and externally read, or wait for Xecuters (and others) device to be able to read/write to the drive.

Well I appreciate the prompt response. That's the information I was looking for. I guess I'm going to look into the X79 Pass Key or I'm selling my Elite, lol. Thanks again Caster.
