trying to fit the xecuter 2.6 ce mod chip

i have my bag of bits which includes the solderless adapter. i also have what i think is an assy' to wire the chip rarther than use the adapter. so i think i dont need to use all the bits. i have a v1.0 motherboard and the LPC rebuild doesnt see to line up with any solder point. can any one help

only need to use the rebuild board with 1.6 version boxes

in your case a 1.0 box will not require rebuilding
check out the tutorials on the front page on how to install your chip

I would suggest using the wire install on a v1.0 board

This is just because the LPC is pre-filled with solder, the Pin header install is way easier on any other motherboard revision.
