trying to flash bios with tdk cd-rw

I have been trying to flash my bios on the xecutor 3.0 via disc but have not had much luck. I have an xbox version 1.1 w/thompson dvd rom and was wondering if any one could please recommend what brand name media to use. i am not having any luck flashing via http. I have tried to burn the disc with different X3 bios, I have named the bin files 'bios' and I have left them named as is! I have tried differrent crossover cables, I have also tried different switch settings and no luck what so ever! Can anyone please help!!Thanks!

how are you burning your bios to a disk??? and i recomend samsung cd-rw as that is what i use and its successful everytime.

Hi, can you show me step by step how to make cd ,let me flash Xecuter 3 (my XBOX v1.0).
