trying to get to the http bios load site

http://192.168.0.99 <----that may as well be doodoo on a stick, cause it does me no good at all. ive been trying to get there. i used explore, safari, and firefox. whats up? is it the site or is it me?
i have my xecuter3 cip in vrs1.0 xbox. wd160gbhd. i installed the chip and drive at the same time. i am having no luck w/the bios stuff man. it justt keeps spiting out any cd loaded bioses i through in there. please im starting to get nuts, not mad, just weird and tired.... kinda antsy, a litle jitery even.

Is that the Ip listed on the screen in the flashbios? If it is then maybe disable your firewall.

try flashing your bios with a dvd-r, not a cdr.

can you tell us a little about how your network is set up?
Is your xbox connected to a router, hub, switch or directly to the PC?
Are you setting up static IP addresses, or using ICS or the Router to DHCP dynamically assign them?

If these questions also make you make poopsicles, maybe you should stay away from the networking, but FTP is sooooo much easier for loading the apps later on.

can you just tell me how to set up my network? i have crossover cables, a switch, a router, and a cable modem. what is the ideal set up?
in what order?
i think i had it set up modem to router. router crossover to comp. router eathernet to xbox.

modem to router wan, ethernet cable to computer and ethernet cable to xbox(dont have to use a crossover cable with it setup this way. Reboot your xbox and when you get to the flash bios use that ip. Just type it into your browser and you should be good.

i did it and goot the # on the screen, again.
i still cant read it rite. is the adress it gave me, my comps adress?
what im asking is; is there anyway i can get that # through you or somthing. you wana jump in my network and see that adress? possable?
my tv is just to blury. my mac is fine.

I'm going to guess that it's not a static IP setup, but a Dynamic one...

Do you know how to find out what the IP address of your computer is? Your xbox IP will most likely be within a few of it. +/-

You could also log into your router, and look for a DHCP table in it. It'll tell you what IP addresses are being passed out.

Or... USE a tv you can read!!!!
