Xboxes are basically PC's and I've read too many tutorials on how to convert your xbox to a PC, also plenty of modding tutorials but absolutely nothing comes up about converting an old motherboard into an xbox. In my defense I don't want to appear stupid but I did try to research, the only thing that comes to mind is it would be too time consuming, but has anyone attempted it? Long ago a friend gave me 2 of his xboxes, one which was mod chipped and has a 120 gb maxtor with the password tapped onto the top of it and a quite collection of emulated games to his claim. He said if I could fix it, it was mine, then came moving so I pulled the HD out and sent the xbox to the recycling plant along with a lot of other junk to downsize my move. Recently I got into dumpster diving and got lucky enough to find a few pcs, some pc parts and an xbox (without the cords) of which I've yet to buy, since it's not modded (I checked) I can't swap drives without getting it modded which means money out of my pocket, so not to be redundant but the second line of this paragraph -- has anyone tried, is it impossible, or is it simply just not worth it which made nobody attempt to do so?

That would be like teaching two def and blind people to communicate with each other.

Though the xbox may be a computer, it's not a computer like your thinking. The hardware is totally different. I'd have to say that it's not impossible to run 360 games from a PC but it would have to be done via an emulator running on a standard operating system. As far as I know, no one has written such a thing.
