im not so sure about what just happened, i'm sorry if this has been answered before.

xbox was working fine, had enigmah-x final in it [time for an upgrade eh?]

installed the x3 and the switch [not pro switch]

powered on, flashbios, everything is good.

i ran out of the room to burn a disc to flash the bios, and i came back like 10 or 15 minutes later [i left the xbox on by mistake]

anyways, i turn it off with my foot and turned it back on by holding it for 3 seconds for fun to see the red disabled led.

im not sure if the problem began to manifest here, or if my toe slipped from the button a few times. but anyways, the worst thing that i could have done is click the power button a few times in semi-rapid succession.

now, the when quick-pressing the power button once, the xbox turns on for a fraction of a second, turns off for about a second, and then turns on. the flashbios screen appears, no problems. wtf. i took the mod out of the lpc port [but didnt disconnect other cables] and the same thing happens, except it turns on, off for a second, on, off for a second, and finally a steady on. any ideas? what have i done!?

thanks a lot, and my deepest appologies if i have somehow missed the answer to this.

edit: xbox v1.0, btw

THAT IS SOOO COOL !!!! why would you want to get rid of that!!!!! what probably happened is that the actual little chip behind the power switch got damaged go see if any traces are screwed up.

Re: Xbox 360 Video Codecs

Theres no way to get that codec back unless you JTag you Xbox. Check out the program called Tversity. Its a good alternative that will stream media from your PC to you 360.
