Hey,

Back in december I installed TX Coolrunner on my friends xbox 360 falcon, and after that the split CB came out. Since then the fine guys from TX and others(?) have been working on RGH2.0 and TX Demon.

Now I want to RGH another falcon, however should I wait for RGH2.0 before getting a TX Coolrunner (maybe there will be a new revision, however I remember in the first post there would be a guide to modify our current Coolrunner to work with 2.0 when released), or just go ahead?

All in all, the TX Demon is gonna be a nice piece of hardware, but the Dual Nand functionality isn't something I am personally gonna use, so it's irrelevant for me :D

Why would you wait? As long as dash is not 14717 or 14719 you can rgh now. No need to wait for rgh 2.0.

Well, I already have a JTAG, so I don't mind waiting a bit if they are gonna fundamentally change the TX Coolrunner, and not only modifications.

If you can RGH now, there is no reason to RGH 2.0 in the future. One is not better than the other. You can always add a Demon when they come out if you want dual nand functionality.

The Demon is being designed around people already having a Coolrunner installed.

Do it now man, no reason to wait.

Ok thanks.

Lets say I can RGH because it's dash allows it, but I can't update the RGH to freeboot 14717 or 14719 right? up to 14699 atm?

You can update to 14719 AFTER you RGH on a dash earlier than 14717. You just need to get your cpu key now. Which is another reason you should not wait.

And when I say you can update, I mean you can create a freeboot 14719 image, I dont mean literally update through XBL. I assume you know that.

Of course I know that :D I have misread the statements from xebuild etc. I thought the split CB wasn't hacked for FAT, so people with RGH 14699 freeboot couldn't update to RGH 14719 freeboot, my bad :) Of course then, I will RGH it right away.
