Hi guys my demon was installed perfect and all points were strong, however just in the middle of replacing my coolrunner A for the ck3 lite. The little circuit board that attached to the coolrunner from the demon i had lost so wired all the points to the demon, now the ck3 lite had that installed i de soldered the un-necessary wires, however without touching the tx point it wobbled loose and broke away. is their a known alternative point for the tx pad? its the purple wire or point 3 on the pic below.

Many Thanks

Dan

you can see the trace for that pad, just scratch off the top surface and solder onto the trace

Can that be done like? ive scraped away and soldered to trace lines before just havn't attempted it on the tx products as it was a white colour, not that make's much differance, if i scrape it away will it expose the shiny trace line?

Thanks

You can trace the pad back to the pin on the IC and solder to that - this would be easier in my opinion.
Thanks will prob do that will let you know if it fixes it

Or you could actually read the card and get a pro installer to fix it for you.
Their is always one that has to moan. Looks like ill have to find that card that i ignored even though it was right in front of my face when i opened the box

....damn the wiring looks worse close up than to the human eye
Need a few more of these.:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm: That is some seriously bad soldering. If you are having that much trouble soldering to a huge pad like that then you should find something to practice on, a lot, before you attempt the repair. Better yet find someone willing to fix your mess before you completely destroy it.

Yeah, mean 'ol Admin stating the fecking obvious. You think that card was included as a joke?

I'll make it easier for you. Closed.

If you need someone to install/repair this properly, post in the correct section (request a service or item) where a pro installer will be able to help you.
