GENERAL Tx PCB replacement key issues.

Hey guys I installed a dg 16d4s unlocked drive PCB from tx. When I try to install the firmware, I use the DVD key that my rgh has but when I write it all onto the drive, the key stays at fffffffffffffffff. I've tried flashing stock and Lt with the DVD key and both end up having the wrong key that I manually spoof to. If any one can help, that would be great

only 0272/9504 can u manually spoof a slim key to

alright so should i just change the firmware that im using? i was using 0225. im kinda new to flashing just cuz i normally glitch the xbox but i have a demon installed on the trinity that i have and thought it would be cool to get the stock side of the xbox to go on live with a flashed dvd drive lol

not going to happen unless box has 9504 osig,or you had orig drive dumps,or find an ltu1 pcb,that box is no good for live

And when you say "manually spoof" you don't really mean that. You can't manually spoof any slim fw.

You have to use "writekey."

Get an LTU1.0 PCB. You can use your dvdkey and decrypted fcrt.bin to build LTU fw for your drive.

Get an LTU1.0 PCB. You can use your dvdkey and decrypted fcrt.bin to build LTU fw for your drive.

As you can see, you were mistaken.

You should read up on the fcrt.bin.

alright so if i use my dvdkey and decrypted fcrt.bin to build LTU fw for my drive, it will fix the problem? i had this drive flashed before with a kamikaze hack but for some reason after using it a few times the hack failed. and i now replaced the pcb with a ltu1.1 pcb.

There is no such thing as a LTU 1.1 PCB. I have no idea what you are talking about.

Also, if you flashed the drive earlier with the kamikaze hack, why don't you have a dummy.bin or a lite-ofw.bin?

Have you considered reading the JF tutorial?

Lonewolf913 had it done and he hasn't been on for ages so I haven't been able to ask for the dummy bin from him

Oh and it does exists, it added the external unlock switch

Yeah, that's not a LTU v1.1 PCB.

that sucks,im working on 3 boards atm,one of which lonewolf charged for reballing,but chip didnt lift till i hit 225,so he def didnt reball it,i dunno wtf he was up to last few months he was round.

ill try reading into that, thanks. and yeah idk what happened, lonewolf did a great job on one of my trinitys and then he did a zypher for me and first time i turn it on, it rrod lol oh well.

If he did a great job on something, he probably didn't do it.

He was just a middle man. Charging you lots, then sending work off to cheaper, better people.
