GENERAL tx replacement board issues??

I recently got a tx unlocked pcb. I fitted it in and flashed it properly. Then when i press eject it goes like x10 the speed when opening and closing.

I decided to put up with it for a bit but recently its been a struggle to eject games so after some research on here i heard it could be a soldier bridge etc. So I checked for soldier bridges and took out the wires and stripped them and put them back in took make sure there was no left over soldier on the tips of the wires.

It still does the same but seems a little bit better at opening and closing successfully but the problem is now it says Unrecognized disc for all games retail and backups and gives me status code 03-57-00??

I also did take out the 3 ribbon cables off the pcb and plugged them back in to see whether that was making the drive open and close fast so that could be why im getting unrecognized disc im not sure..

Im going to open it back up and recheck everything but if anyone knows what could possibly be the cause please help me out as it was reading games before thanks ppl

Also could someone tell me what each colour of the wires are for.. So i can troubleshoot each one thx

Right i stripped wires again and double them over at the ends so it makes more of a connection. I unplugged the 3 ribbon cables and plugged them back in. I put it all together and it will read the game i left in there but it won't open with eject it sounds like its going to but doesn't sometimes it comes quarter of the way out and shoots back in before i can grab hold of it to make it open. So basically im back out square 1 but its even harder to open the disc tray.

I am certain it has something to do with the wires. Will someone tell me what colour the wires are that deal with the opening and closing of the disc drive so i can focus on them.

At least i fixed the unreconized disc.. Not sure whether that was fixed by re-plugging of ribbon cables or stripping wires again?

Sorted it.. Well nearly I reflashed the drive and made sure i properly outro the drive. It stills opens a little fast but seems to open and close nearly all the time now :smile:

Don't know what it is but im leaving at that because i cba solving it as I have been at it for the last 3 hours or so.

But if anyone knows why this is please reply.
