Hello!
I've searched and searched BUT!
I purchased the "Liteon DG-16D4S - Unlocked Replacement PCB v.1.1" from Mr.Modchips

I've replaced the board and done the wiring.

When powering it up on PC - the drive is not found, nor will it eject when trying with the CK3i.

Any ideas.....?
Many Thanks

Is there an actual guide on what to do once you have found the new drive with no firmware on it?

Or can I go to a guide and continue from step "x".

Thank you :)

follow this guide up to step 13 for disassemble

http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67283

and try this guide after assemble

http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67780

pretty easy to find, you may want to put some effort into it instead of waiting for the spoon
or this

Liteon DG-16D4S 0401 (Slim) Unlocked PCB / Pro Kit - Step-By-Step Guide

assuming you have one of these model drives, but i posted the links mainly so you have the pictures of removing/installing the pcb

follow the junglefalsher guide especially the part where is tells you to uninstall the via drivers and restart the pc with driver signature enforcement disabled.

I hadn't realized that this wasn't your thread originally.

But here goes. Slim motherboards (Including TX PCB Replacements) can be picky about recognizing or writing to the board.

This is especially true once you have written firmware to it. Because in all essence it becomes the original slim drive.

You could follow the remove via drivers in jungleflasher, my your ultimate aim would be to get a USBpro
