Hi everyone.
I done the kamikaze hack on my 0272 liteon. I drilled a litle to far and it stopped reading discs and ejecting. I just received my tx pcb, it flashed no problem and outro'd twice. When i put it back in my slim it would not eject and has a blinking green light. All connections are fine, has anyone else had this problem?

Re: TX REPLACEMENT PCB PROBLEM? (SOLVED)

Hi everyone,

Don't need to post my jf log, it flashed ok like i said before.

I have just got back home and had a good look a the tx pcb for any defects. What i found was a thread of copper wire running right across the bottom edge of the pcb, this wire was very hard to see and was linking the five coloured wires or solder points together. This is why my laser wasn't working and tray would not eject.

I used my tweezers to remove the wire and re-soldered the five coloured wires. Now everything is working fine again

I hope this post helps anyone else with the same problem as i don't think my pcb will be the only one to leave the factory this way.

Please +rep or say thanks if i helped.
