LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM TX replacement pcb

ok so, trying to update to lt+2.0. moved the white pcb tx pcb button to "1" . intro device. says in vendor mode but gives 08c locked spi status, will not unlock!
pls help!!

I may be wrong but I think what you have to do is once the drive is in vendor mode you click the spi status button and then you move the switch to 1 an the code changes to 0x0

I believe your correct man...you can try this and if it doesn't work post your log

Same thing happened to me I had to power cycle, i think twice before it went in vendor mode with 0x00 code... Follow this tutorial by Ubergeek...

Thanks for the reply! i had to hit the 0x8c button to unlock! but now i have another prob.
the upgrade went fine. now it wont read any original or backups at all! Do i need to erase first then write? please help, thanks!

Did you hit the spi button to lock the drive after complete and did you put the switch back to "0"?
