I was skeptical when I bought this containing 5 kits to fix RROD errors because it is a heat-less fix. The advertisement for them made it sound as if these kits were next to fail proof. I would like to know if anyone else has any experience with these kits? I have just used the 4th kit in the box and my success rate is 1 out of 4 fixed. I am unimpressed with these results and would not have shelled out $80 for a 25% success rate. Comment and experiences welcome but please don't question my ability to install these or if they were installed correctly I can assure you they were and every step was followed to the tee. They are a temporary fix at best and that's only if the cause of the RRoD is faulty solder balls and even then it's a 50/50 chance. I don't know why TX would even sell such a thing and claim it fixes anything. When they are successful, they just mask the underlining problem.
