ANSWERED TX team, any chance you will add external flashing capabilities for TX unlocked PCBs?

I chose to buy the TX unlocked PCB over the Matrix freedom PCB simply because of the support and quality I know TX will put behind their products.

It was a little bit of a difficult decision because the Matrix Freedom was cheaper and the huge bonus was that it allowed you to Lock/unlock and program your PCB externally. So no more opening the case, much like I had with my blaster 360 on my phat.

Is there any chance you can add this ability to the unlocked PCBs through an add on or something?

This would be the best feature ever!
Also if you guys would do something like this, it would be awesome to honor your existing customer with an upgrade kit to add the external flash ability to an existing Xecuter PCB...

Otherwise, great suggestion and i absolutely support this. :)

In all fairness, I've probably opened my console well over a dozen times to reflash and replace the drive. I've had the same flashed console since feb 2010. It's on it's third drive now.. Damn BenQ's and their laser quality...

Fat drives already have external flash with blaster he is talking about slims

But, don't you need to flash the DVD back to stock before a dashboard update ? That's what everyone here recommends so you don't risk getting stuck in an update loop . Meaning a lot of drive flashing would be required to keep the dashboard updated , login on Live etc
