Hi!

I followed this guide to bridge U6T2 and prevent blowing efuses in the future.

http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53292

However, after doing this, when i power on the console the only thing that happens is that the middle light on the ROL is green and nothing more. No video signal at all. I can't even start Xell by pressing the eject button :(

Not the very best picture but this is how it looks like...

At one occasion though the boot logo appeared and got stuck.

I tried reflashing Freeboot and also the original NAND but didn't help.

I struggled to get this JTAG working forever and when i finally did it i was just going to do this final touch and then this happened :(

Thanks for replying!

I'm a bit afraid to desolder it as I might remove the solder from the original points. It's sooo small that it's very hard to just get the bridge away. I'm not even sure what the original points is holding and what happens if that solder is gone.

I could try using desolder braid but it will probably suck everything up.

I forgot to mention it's a Xenon.

Remove the solder present at the point and clean it, then see if the Xbox360 works. If it works, then simply remove the R6T3 resistor as its much easier. If the Xbox360 doesn't work, then we'll troubleshoot this problem further.

Thanks for helping!

I used desolder braid to get as much solder off as possible and then cleaned with isopropanol. I then flashed the original NAND back and put the QSB JTAG switch to off but still gives me the middle green light and no video :(

If you ask me, it may be happening that an RROD is on the way....

This isn't to accuse you of anything, it's just to ascertain if there's more to the story...

Did anything else happen between it working and the soldering of the above bridge? Whatever you think is irrelevent may not be. Otherwise we cannot help.

As mentioned, it MIGHT be a RROD coming. I have already X-clamped this one last week (was thinking of running FSD with a high fan setting to make it last longer instead of doing a 12v mod). It's somewhat strange it would happen right after I did the bridge, but ofcourse not impossible.

The only thing I did between it working and doing the bridge was that I tightened the clamp replacement screws just a tiny little bit. I could try doing the X-clamp one more time.

I'm also the owner of a 67-something dash Jasper. But my confidence in this was a little bit harmed after screwing this up.

I appreciative how helpful you all are!

You were right. This unit has a RROD problem. I've fixed about 20 RROD's but this one unfortunately had the shortest lifespam of them all so far.

I redid the x-clamp fix on the GPU alone this time and then the unit worked again, for 5min. If i let it cool for a while it works again for 1min, then freezes.

Strange enough it never gives the 3 led RROD but instead the green middle led lights up and nothing happens.

However, after a while when i redid the GPU overheating it turned to 3 RROD for the first time.

Case closed i guess. Too bad it bit the dust...

Thanks all!
