No - I'm saying that I still think there's a problem with your cable.

It didn't take long for somebody to notice that this half-duplex mode of operation does not make full use of the available wiring. Since there are separate wires for transmit and receive, why not transmit and receive at the same time?"
Half-duplex only uses one pair of wires. If there's a break in one of the other pairs and you use full-duplex, then you're gonna get timeouts..
Stick with Half-duplex if you want. Unless you're gonna be sending and receiving data at the same time, you won't notice much of a difference.
