Getting ready to update my Nand-x prior to my coolrunner programing and it's not showing on any of my pc's in device managers, Not even the memoryaccess as per the software install tut
I've plugged it into 2x win7 machines and 1xXP pro, it doesn't even make the windows cuplunk sound when I plug it in. I don't supposed there's anything I can do apart from sending it back ? is it possible it shipped without any firmware on it ? I've also tried another micro usb lead, Same result, Red light lights up on the Nand-X btw.

Mine did not make any sound or windows prompt when I connected it the first time, however it showed in device manager as "Memory Access" and I installed the drivers and worked just fine ..

Hope this helps.

Have you tried flashing it ?
Thanks for your speedy reply Uber ,
Haven't got the Nand-x update cable through yet, I was just going to install the drivers ready for the cable.
Would I be able to flash it even though it's not showing in device manager ?
@jahoodi, Thanks for your input buddy but as I said above I'm not even getting the memoryaccess icon in DM:frown:

I opened the Nand-X case to see if I could see any problems with solder points at the bottom of the board, I couldn't see any, But sometimes you can't with the naked eye.

Got my cables & QSB today, Kept getting AutoBaud Errors when trying to program the Nand-X then I lowered the baud rate to 7200 and it programmed like a dream, Thought I may have one of the old update cables at first after a search, But thankfully that wasn't the case.
Strange my Nand-x shipped blank but I suppose these things happen
Time to program the coolrunners :p
