UIX Dash (hacked MS Dash)

I got UIX from xbins, but somehow the files became jumbled up on my PC.

I will give rep points if someone can post a list of the folders and which files should go in each folder. Screenshots would be just as good.

Also, I didn't download the Audio_&_Fonts.rar because I am assuming that they are the same identical files to those on the C drive that are used by the msdash (xboxdash.xbe). I will also give rep points to anyone who tells me if this is true or not.

(The reason that I am asking on here instead of just re-downloading the files is that the UIX files total about 40MB and so it takes a while to download. Beause it is illegal I would rather sort out the files that I already downloaded if possible.)

If you wanted to place UIX in E:\UIX, you would put default.xbe in E:\UIX and user.interface.x.dash in the UIX folder to so you will have
E:\UIX\user.interface.x.dash\ (audio, fonts, skins, system, bla bla bla)
E:\UIX\default.xbe
Aslong as UIX's xbe is in the same directory as the user.interface.x.dash folder, it will work.

Yes you do need the Audio_&_Fonts.rar as they are new files and required for UIX.
Download, extract and shove em in the /user.interface.x.dash/audio and /fonts DIR.

Thanks, that solves the problem. I gave you your rep points. Also, how safe is it to use #xbins? I mean, can anyone see you using it?

The people who run the FTP servers can, I suppose its possible that your ISP and anyone smart enough to spy on your pc's internet connection could too.
But yeah dont worry about using it. I dont. Neither do the other users i guess.

Whaty would happen if you got spied on? Fined?

I guess if any action where to be taken, a fine is possible.
If this is just going to make you more paranoid, stop askin about it .
Go get legal advice from a solicitor/lawyer
