UK crystal XBOX 1.6 no its not

Get this UK Crystal xbox (supposed to be 1.6) I have one here with a 1.5 board it how can this be????
A m8 brought it round last night for chipping, this morning opened up come to do LPC Rebuild thought this does not look right then i notice front is not right (if 1.6) as supposed to be??
Lost gunna get some pics sorted

If you have a 1.5 then you have a 1.5

The fact it's in a Crystal Chassis is neither here nor there, since the best way to tell version is to check the components inside.

Flashing liteon with jf and this connectivity kit start??

Hey! So I just got this connectivity kit off ebay to flash my Liteon 74850c drive using JungleFlasher and I'm not entirely sure how to go about that.. I can follow the jf tutorial to a point, but I get lost and confused as soon as it just talks about the whole probing process.

Does anyone know where I can find a basic guide for the kit I got? Something I can use along with jf?

procedure is the same as USBXtractor (only yours has no button on probe) so press dvdkey32 instead of button on USBXtractor.
connect the USB probe to pc and ensure you find a driver for it so it shows up in com ports list!
ensure selected correct com port!
then follow the jf tut!
