[UK] UK Hitachi 47 key extraction - Bricked drive?

Hi,

picked up a cheap system, the drive seems to be bricked.
No eject, even on ck3.
Looks like the laser is on all the time. Not found in Jungleflasher on portIO - doubt winapi will make much difference.

Looks like i cant get the key easily, got the latest dash.
So need someone to try extract the key. or inform me of any tricks i may be missing lol

Open the drive see if everything where it should be

All there when i open it, Nothing seems burnt out.
Wonder if Teajunkie might ba able to help?
Can he take the tsop off and read?

tj's away for the next couple of weeks mate but if you can wait that long then you could email him through his site or give xmods a shout. hes in the US, but if you were to send just the pcb then itd be a lot cheaper than a new 360.

No, have that in the right way. Got a spare Hitachi which i can get seen in jungle flasher.
Just this one is no good.
Have tried the PCB in the spare one, with the same results. Not found in JF and laser on.
Looks like a bad flash i think.

How do i find xmod?

Are you able to get the tsop off?
What would you do?

try geting it working again could be a dead trace or anything

If you think its dead then may aswell see cost of post. maybe get your box working again

Other wise its a paper weight
