[UK] (UK) Replace slim drive

Hi i have a broken xbox slim drive and my understanding is that it cannot be just swapped with a new one.

I need someone to extract the key from my slim and spoof it to a flashed xbox 360 drive so that i can use it to play backed up games offline in my xbox slim.

my question is how did you destroye/brick your drive?

what slim drive is it? and what exactly have you done to it?

if its bricked then its bricked.

I was hotswapping and i forgot to run the game before hotswapping so when i slowed down the disc i think it put something out of place and when i pressed install the modded disc would not run.
I now have the open tray error and soetimes when i hit the top of my dvd drive it works so i know it is not completley broken.
I bought a new xbox today though so if anyone is interested in buying because they can fix it email me

I was wondering since its something to do with the lens would i be able to buy a replacement drive and just switch the boards inside?

Yep - that is an idea, although you've also got the option to wait for the new LT+ firmware & new JF which will integrate dumping of the drive/writing etc?

I don't think I've seen any UK stock of the Slim drives though?

hi is there anyone that can help me with this problem now that slim drives can be flashed, is there any uk stock of slim drives or can you put the key on an old drive? please help me.
