Unable to Run Flashbios

I have an XBox 1.6b and an Xecuter 3 chip with a 250Gb HDD, which was upgraded by a friend of mine.

All was working OK when it was brought back to me, but because I have 2 young children, I thought I would add a password within the BIOS. When I rebooted the XBox it would not work. It only loads into backup mode, but NO Apps or games will run.

I have exhaustedly checked everywhere on the Internet for a fix, most suggest to reflash the BIOS.

ONE MAJOR PROBLEM, I cannot run the FlashBIOS app. I have downloaded the appropriate BIN files, have created a CD as per instructions (which would not load), have copied the BIN files to the appropriate directory via FTP/HTTP etc.... BUT I AM UNABLE TO RUN the FlashBIOS to load the file.

I have also tried the A+B+X+Y button combo to reset but nothing appears to work.

Can anybody please offer any suggestions or is the Chip Damaged ???

If I was to get another Chip would this fix the problem OR is there something else I can do ?

Help needed, as it is school holidays and my kids are getting bored without their new Xmas present.

which bios are you runing if 3294 it has a bug in it
have you tryed power eject at same time till you get purple x on switch
try and set switchers to on on off off off or off on off off off reboot after changing switchers
once you get flashbios flash with [font=verdana, arial, helvetica]version x3_1892 v16 plus beta. then remove password then it should work reflash with X3 3294 v16 plus[/font]
and do not set password

It's probably most likely 3294, I've tried power and eject, it goes to UnleashX dash, from there I can't run any apps, I get a black screen.

on on off off off just shows a black screen, mod chip is blue, can't do anything in that screen, green led turns orange after a couple of seconds.
off on off off off xbox gets stuck at Xbox -Xecutor Rox my Box screen.

you need to flash a older x3 bios too chip if you can get into UnleashX dash get a download of flashx3 ftp it into your apps folder then reboot xbox then run it flash the flashbios bios too the 1 bank switch too on on on on off then you should have a working flashbios to fix password

but like I said I can't run apps, I tried running bios checker and all I get is a black screen, is there a way to wipe the whole chip?

How can you transfer the back up bios to the main bios? I tried doing what you said via email, doesn't work.

was not 100% it wounld did you have your setting on 256k settings try all i got it to work
just remeberd what i did get you hands on auto installer delux cd download burn it run it in dvd drive when the are on on on off off off then pick boot to dash option then put that flashx3 into your apps folder then reboot redo boot to dash from dvd then run app from dash flash flashbios to 1 bank i will send a x3 erace app do not no what it will do but i think it whips the x3 clean you may lose eveything

The xbox is not with me at the moment but I doubt that that will work, I mean just by changing the switches, how will that make apps work?

no but with the auto installer dvd you would have got into your dash to put in dash i think your runing two diff bios thats why you are getting the other dash uleash??? as when you set password you can not get into the dash at all so this make me think you can boot into the dash and run apps that way useing x3 bios
