I bought an Xbox on GL not knowing it have been modified. I then tried to update the dashboard which was is currently on 2.0.12625.0 but it would hang or I would receive the following error message below.

3151-417f-1380-2203-c000-0001

I then hook it up to my VIA VT6421A card on my computer with the Xbox power brick and confirmed that it was modified to XTREME5.3A. I then flash it to stock and tried to update the dashboard again but it would hang or received the same error message as above. I then tried to load LT v2.01 and same deal. Everything works is just that I can't play newer release games since I can update the dashboard. Pls help.

Which system update are you trying to apply?

If you convert the second set of four digits from hex to decimal, you get 16767.

Make sure the drive has stock firmware on it before you try and update.

I am trying to put the latest on there SystemUpdate_16767_USB (2.0.16767.0). Should I fall back some as maybe the jump to the latest dashboard is too much since is currently on 2.0.12625.0.

I am unsure if the drive was previously replaced. The guy that sold me the xbox never responded back to me after he sold me it ( I want to return it since I thought I was getting a regular XBox and not a modified one). Sorry, but how do you flash it without OSIG spoofing?

Just load Samsung MS25/MS28 stock firmware from the "PRE" folder and use the "Manual Spoofing" function to inject the console's drive key.
