Unfucntion disc drive.

Hello all, I have a problem, my 360's disc drive won't open or spin, when I turn it on, try to eject from the dash board, it just went from opening... then say closing.. and it just stuck there.

When I tried to turn the console on by hitting the eject button, it will turn on, but the disc tray won't reject, and eventually take me to the dashboard screen.

I took the case off, took apart the disc drive, put game in manually (like hotswap), then turn the power on, again.. nothing.

Anyone ever have this problem or know how to fix it? Is it the motor? Could the motor be burnt out? anyhelp is appreciate thx a lots!

IVE READ A LITTLE ON THIS YOU NEED TO MANUALLY EJECT YOUR DRIVE AS THE GEARS HAVE SLIPPED OUT OF PLACE ITS ON MICROSOFTS SITE SUMWHERE JUST SEARCH MANUAL EJECT 360 DRIVE OR SUMTHING ... GOOD LUCK !!

I FORGOT I THINK THIS IS THE WAY YOU CAN TELL IF THE GEARS HAVE SLIPPED !! DO YOU HEAR A CLICKING NOISE WHEN YOU TRY TO OPEN IT ?

Thx for answering! no I didn't hear anything, god I hope you're right, infact Andy, I was trying to move it, and it slip out my hand! then when I tried to turn it back on, thats when it happened =(,it would make lots of sense if this's the case....

But I'll search the net thx u very much!
