I've had this problem for quite some time and never did get around to resolving it. I've tried *every* switch position recommended by everyone, suggesting it was a misprint, unplugged the x3 switch, tried flashbios, tried from the bios tools in the 1959 bios, and I still can't flash the thing.
My question is.. Xecuter, can you tell me that if the chip's flash protect switch is faulty, which leads at the back of the chip I could bridge to disable the switch and disable flash protection permanently?
This information could prove to be useful, and might save me from going out and buying another chip. I'd appreciate your reply greatly. Thanks.
