For those of you that missed the fun, look here:

Long story short, somewhere in trying to get the X2 flashed I seemed to trash my X3, including the backup bank. Just to get a few intial things out of the way the write protect isn't on, I tried flashing via CD, HTTP, FTP...all with the same result. Also, I tried flashing to every bank on the chip, same result. I've been trying for about two hours to hotswap it with my cousin's X3 and am getting no where. Doesn't matter if I try it in my box (full solder install) or my cousin's (xapter) the result is the same.

The only helpful bit of info I can give is when I attach my chip to the box, the X3 logo turns red. When my cousin's is attached, the logo turns blue (as it should).

Is it new chip time?

I can only suggest reseating the chip coz its probably still a connection thing and then try testing smaller bioses.

Probably should of got a programmer for the X2. Weird stuff.
