Hi All,

I have read and read and still cannot find any answers. I has the x3CE and am trying to install a new bios. I am getting the Unknown Flash Halting! error although PROTECTION IS NOT ON. a green light shows on the chip itself and the switch on the front of te xbox is off. For the fun of it i have tried about every posible configuration i can think of. Any help would be really apreciated...Cheers

You using the cp or ext. switch?
What are the switch settings for the banks?
And what banks are you trying to flash?
What bios you trying to flash?

if you have a green light then flash protect is on..(green is for safe/red means unprotected flash)
You need a red light on your chip to flash it..check the switch on the chip and remove any external switches to get the light red..
