Unknown Problem - Slightly Technical

I installed my x2.6 chip a while back, and after a bit of trouble got it working.

It worked fine for 3 days, then froze in the middle of a game, and when I restarted it FRAG'd.

I opened up the xbox and checked the pins voltage. And found two of the ones that had voltage before weren't giving me any reading.
I resoldered them. The seem to be back to normal.
I tried it, it worked. Then the same this happend, same pins.

Resoldered. Worked for a bit died. This time only one of the pins.

Resoldered, worked. Then FRAG'd yet again. I checked the pins they all gave me the right readings.
So I decided I'd just resolder all the pins.
Did that, and pin number 1 gave me a reading of 5 volts, instead of .2
Resoldered gave me same reading.
Resoldered finally went back to .2

Worked. Then FRAG'd. Then after restarting about 6 times it worked. Turned off. Left over night. FRAG'd when I started in the morning.
After a few restarts it worked.

All the pins are giving the correct voltage. All the pins are level and the chip is on correctly (I've even tried taping it down). I can't see any burns on the mobo, or solder splash. All the soldering look good ( heaps better looking than my first attempt)
I haven't done a trace because I've never done one before, and I've heard it can screw up the mobo.

Does anyone have an idea why it would work and random, and frag other times?

Update:

I took all the solder off pin 1, there was still a bit of resin left.
It is reading 6 volts, not 0 or 0.2
Anyone got an idea why it would happen with no solder?

I would say it sounds like something got bridged to it and is giving the extra voltage, but the closest thing that I am aware of which would carry that range of volts is pin 6... a rather large bridge. What version of Xbox is this anyway?

What condition are the LPC holes in at this point? That's a lot of soldering to be doing there, I don't know how well the holes will hold up.

It's a 1.6 with rebuild.
And the LPC holes look like they are fine.
I can't see how there would be a bridge. I got rid of all the solder from around the bottom of the pin.

Which is why I am very confused as to why it would be getting 6 volts. Thats almost twice as much as any other pin.

Possible solder splashes elsewhere on the board? If this is the case it would likely cause the box to FRAG on stock boot as well. What does the box do if you boot with the mod disabled? Works properly?

(grasping here, but still trying to offer suggestions...)
