is there a way with either Unleash X or Evox to place a password on a folder so when trying to access it, the dashboard will ask for the pass to be entered in order to open the folder. if so how?

Unfortunetly, I do not believe that any current dashboard supports passwording folders. However, with the Xecuter 3 bios, you may put on a password for the entire XBox. It'll give you a little screen on boot up where you must type it in. That's very secure, but a tad annoying to have to to every time you turn on your box.

Hey,
I remember this topic coming up a while back. I vaguely remember someone finding an app on xbins in the PC section that would do this. I'm having trouble connecting to xbins right now so I can't check. Look around you might find something there.

Another way you can do this is setup a dash to look 3 levels instead of 2 and put all the stuff you don't want anyone to find there. Then use a file manager to get to the other dash. Or just put wha tyou want to hide down 3 levels and use a file manager to get to it.
