I have a 16D4S with 225 firmware. I failed the kamikaze method and now looking to buying an unlock PCB.
I saw an unlock PCB board with 9504 fw selling on ebay from china. Will this work for me? When I attempted the Kamikaze method I applied the latest system update and i do have the dummy.bin. Is the 9504 supported in JF?

It won't be a 9504 PCB once you write to it. It'll be an 0225 PCB. All DG-16D4S PCBs are the same, with the exception that some have Winbond SPI and others have MXIC.

Thank for a very quick response.

Once I write to it, it will be locked with firmware 0225. For future firmware update, if it happen to be a winbond chip, then I will have to attempt another kamikaze method to unlock it. I can not send command from JF to lock and unlock.

Once you write to it, it will be an 0225 drive. It'll only be locked once you lock it.

Yes, once locked you'd need to unlock manually (kamikaze/MXIC) depending on the SPI type.

Thank you so much. I searched for 2 days for this kind of information.
