LITEON 0225 unlocked 0272+dash update advice please

hi

i have a slim xbox drive is an unlocked 0272 which was updated with lt+2 (it wasn't locked after flash)
the dashboard of the said slim is 13146 i know the dash after this wipes firmware and locks the drive.

my question is if i update to 13604 will it wipe the and lock the drive? leaving me no option but to kamikaze or sputnik it ? (i think it is a sputnik pcb)

any advice before i do something i may regret lol

edit sorry it is a 0272 and not 225

You should simply be able to lock your drive and update the dashboard. The update will not affect locked slim drives, this has already been tested and verified.

it now says can not apply update
so now i have to sputnik it unlock it again and restore
boohooo lol

restored to original firmware > updated>flashed to lt2 = happy days

What did you do so it didnt lock after update?

Hi

I used the Sputnik probe but now it don't read any games at all so I am going to return it back to stock and try again.
I think I used the original firmware before the update doh !!!!!! :rolleyes2:

No need for JFK log I think I know where I went wrong

After I cut trace and probed with Sputnik I did not resolder cut trace I think this could be the problem.
Took top off drive and the lazer lights up but does not move could this be because of the none repair of the trace
