Hey,

I just bought an unlocked winbond pcb (kamakaze) and installed it into the drive casing. I opened it up in jungleflasher and intro'd it but nothing is coming up in the lock status on the bottom right of the program. I tried outro'ing it a few times but did not work. Can anyone tell me how to write to it?

More info: the eject and reading are working fine as far as I can tell. I think im just missing a step before writing.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It showed up once with 0x00 and I tried to write but it didn't work. Hasn't come up since though. Next time that happens (assuming it will happen again) will I click the status button ? And are you sure it's a bogey pcb? I got it off a very reputable member of these forums. Thanks again for your help.

Yea it's already unlocked. Shows up with 0x00. I haven't been using an alcohol swab. My problem now is that it won't verify.

did you try re-writing when you got the fail? Sometimes I get that but if I rewrite it will go through the second time.

try this:

- try writing several times.
- After writing even if it fails verification, read the fw from the pcb and load LT to target and write that and see if it verifies the write.

If every thing did not work pm me I have replacement PCB with free shipping :D
