Hey everyone,

I have an Xbox 360 containing the LiteOn 74850C which I'm flashing for a friend which has been updated to the latest dashboard so now obviously running 02510C.

I understand that the drive key needs to be extracted with the use of a CK Probe 3 or similar homemade device.

I bought the CK Probe 3 but I don't have a CK3 Pro/Lite or one of the replacement CK3i/Mini connectivity kits.

What I have been doing up until now is using the power kit that came with the now irrelevant Maximus USB Xtractor (used for probing R707) that looks a little like this (with the old probe on the left):

My question is, can I use this in conjunction to the CK Probe 3 or do I need a CK3 Mini or a similar device?

I understand that I can use the power adapter to power the LiteOn drive but I'm not quite sure how I could power the CK Probe 3.

Many thanks.

You would need a power cable with two female ends on it, one end to connect the maximus to and one end to connect the probe 3 cable to. I don't believe you can buy one so you would have to make it or perhaps you could find someone here to make one for you. Best bet would be to buy the CK3i. It is very useful.

I'm finding it very hard to believe that you posted this after just agreeing to the forum rules.

Go read them again.
I understand that it is not a TX product but I was hoping to use it in addition to the CK Probe 3 without having to spend more just to do this one drive.

My apologies.

I myself have a Samsung drive you see.
