Update after modding

i'm planning on buying a modded xbox and i wanted to ask if it gets pricked if you tried updating the dashboard because i heard that some of the new games won't run unless you install the latest update. thanks.

you need to take the updates.
everything should be fine.game and console.

but how will i update it, if i go on live i will probably get banned. Is there another way to update my xbox without connecting to live? like put it on a usb memo stick or burn it on a CD ?

if you have the new firmware it will be fine.i would try to get the game updates with a store bought game.

you can get the update it will be FINE.

there are both.there will be game updates sometime and console update sometime.i have took a game update with a backup but i try not to if i can help it.
