Update Bios

Guys. i have the X2 Chip and i am trying to update it to the latest 5035 bios.

Now i have a CDRW disc that i always use with the xbox as it reads it ok and i have rebuilt it with Slayers many times and for many people in the past.

Now i have downloaded the 5035 bios and have also put a 300MB dummy file on the CDRW but the xbox will not boot off it.

I have followed the guide to do it off this site which is for nero 5, i am using nero 6 but that should not make any difference.

Does anyone have an .iso of a CDRW or DVD that they have used to update to bios 5035 that they could send me?

Thanks for the reply. So how do i get to the screen to be asked for the bios?

Sorry its been years since i updated my bios

If you are already running a mod BIOS and software, get the program FlashX on your Xbox. Makes updating your BIOS a breeze. You won't need to worry about a CD at all, you will just put all the files on your xbox HDD.
