LITEON 83850 v1 update error

hi guys i have a problem . here goes i put ris of nightmares in my xbox today 838v1 it started an update then stoped , i new it have flashed the drive so i reflashed it back to lt2 i put the game back in but it keeps saying cant read update from disc , i have the latest dash and everything why wont it read it now

You need to flash it back to stock and complete update from there. If you still can't doit via disk download from ms and try again..

i can flash it back to stock but then it wont read from the disc as it is a back up , so how can i down load it from ms i dont go online can i still download it then put in onto a usb stick
