GENERAL Update error

A friend updated his xbox arcade while trying to play a new game now it has a update error after that and i cant enter the menu
He was on lt+1.1 any ideas how to fix it?
I was thinking to update it str8 to 13599 then flash it to lt+ 2.0 is that ok?

I'm guessing he tried to update with a backup?:rolleyes2: Flash back to stock, update the dash, install lt 2.0 and finish update.

best finding out what game he was updateing of.

then put that retail game in the drive to finish of the update.

or get that update and put it onto a usb stick and finish the update.

yah the dummy tried to update it with fifa 12 backup.i think fifa update is 13146 not sure if any1 knows please let me know.Guess ill have to flash to stock first but need to be sure of the dashboard first. Thanks

Its 13599 as fifa is wave 13th. So flash back to stock then do update with usb, and then flash to newest version of CFW.[FONT=&quot][/FONT]

Ok thanks saved me from choosing the wrong file for pre or post 13141.Btw i update to 13599 again right?

it's already stock so just pop the 13599 onto usb to finish the update.

after you done that update,you may as well do the 13604 update while you are stock.

then reflash the drive.

Yes and then you might as well update it again to 13604 before reflashing CFW
