The odd thing is, It gives me the same results if I use the JRP. I am in the middle of reballing the southbridge, but will post the jrunner log for that if this doesn't repair the issue. EDIT: Also, continuity checks between the jrp and the board so I don't believe its the solder job.

ya. I have placed dash 14719 on the thumb drive and it tries to update, but fails and throws this error code. Looking like the nand has gone bad? attempting to get a nand read as i write this and it has had SEVERAL errors.
you never did say that you try the 13599 update. that was the last dash before you try to update to 14719. lots of time when someone bring me in a update loop problem I would go down with all the system update file first and it works..i just call ms and they said nothing is wrong with your xbox. the only thing you need to do is go to storage device then system options then clear system cache once or twice then it should do a clean system update. I gave him that error code you gave us and he said nothing is wrong with the system just do that because update was interrupt.

If I could get to the dashboard, I would try this. This is stuck in the update loop. I have tried the 13599 update, and it doesn't attempt to update. I'll look into the Nand-X resistor shorting method.

Swizzy's update toolbox says that it was on dashboard 13599. swizzy.jpg
I inserted update 14719 and it throws error: 351f-397f-2600-2515-c000-007f just after around 55%. I cannot access the dashboard to clear cache. It will not get past the update screen.

I understand and appreciate it. I spoke with M$ as well before I posted here. I am going to swap out the Southbridge and see if that alleviates the issue.

I'm not sure I believe that the warranty sticker is genuine. Have u read the firmware of the DVD drive just to rule it out. If it is stock, something may have gone wrong which stopped it updating the DVD firmware. Just a thought. Failing that, it's time to RGH it and rebuild a NAND manually. Good luck.

Drive FW appeared stock. How can I RGH if i can't get a nand image?
Have u read the DVD drive firmware with jungleflasher? U need to rule it out before u go messing with nands. If u'r having trouble reading your NAND, u need to troubleshoot it using Martin c's nandx guide.
