I do have a progskeet 1.2, but I couldn't find any diagrams to wire it up.managed to fix my issue with similar error code
dumped NAND, glitched and got CPU key, figured out dash version and LDV, created retail NAND, flashed and updated to latest with USB, works perfect.
do you have progskeet or demon to read/write nand if the SPI interface is bad?

System updates have feck all to do with a HDD (for the last time).have you try using a different 360 hard drive to apply the update. seems like the internal hdd may not have enough space free
