RGH Update from 14699 t0 14719, Safe with Jrunner?

hi there

To be honest with everyone, I wasnt pay attention on later MS Update, It seems change lot, Muti builder was abandoned by many people and replaced with J-runner.

I ve seen the core pack and 14719 file pack download available in J-runner thread.
Also the video demo is amazing. But I still not sure the safey to update to latest dash, by the way I m coolrunner user with 14699 dash.

so after merge the core pack and 14719 file on pc, should I just use pre-dumped nanddump.bin to creat new nandflash.bin and then update in xell using usb key?

I got a few questions which is not sure about

1 which folder does 14719 file pack go to?

2 is there anything to be aware during creation of new nandflash.bin? would it be same as 13599 to 14699 update except the software?

3. its might be a stupid question, but I m still not sure. The nandflash.bin actually contain MS update information, after updating in XELL, its no need to go official update again right?

Hi,

1. J-Runner downloads automatically the files needed without your intervention.

2. If you have a nand dump and your CPU Key, it's a piece of cake. Just point it to your nand and paste your CPU Key and ta-da! :)

3. It is needed to run the official update after the flash for getting avatars to work. Of course, if they are OK, no need for that.

Sincerly, I don't understand why you want 719 dash, as the only differences between 14699 and 14719 are security related. Of course, if you want the 719 just for the sake of having the LAST dashboard, go for it. :)
