Update is required

Hey there everyone. I am very much a noob at this and i hope this is the right forum. i am trying to run BOIII on my system and it is saying i need to log onto xbox live to accept and dl the update. im just wondering if this will ruin my mod or is it safe to do?

What mod do you have? RGH?
If so BO3 is multiplayer only. You won't by able to play that without some live stealth service.

And of course do not try to update !
