I had sent message http://www.teamxecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25021 a while back. I didn't get any responses explaining what I should have done so, what I ended up doing is ordering a replacement motherboard from Llama. I was under the impression that the 120gb HD that I installed after modding, would work with the replacement motherboard. I found out the hard way that it doesn't because it's locked. My question now is, if I send the original motherboard to Llama to see if it can be fixed, is the key that is stored on the original(one that xbox came installed with) and replacement 120 gb hd's the same? Or when I put in the 120 gb did it create a new one? The reason why I'm asking is because when I send it in to get fixed, I don't want to send the 120 gb hd, I'd feel more comfortable sending the original that I still have. If I find that the motherboard is not able to be fixed, I'm considering sending it in to have it unlocked from the manufacture. Has anyone sent a locked HD back in for data retriveal? My main gripe that I have now is, in all the FAQ's and tutorials on setting up and installing mod chips NO WHERE was it stated that you should backup and keep your hard drive key just in case, or to use config majic to create a master password. This is very important because situations like these will happen.
