Update or not? OFW 5.1

Hello everybody,

So I am currently waiting my SX Pro to be delivered, and since that I never used my Switch to avoid updating.
I have an OFW Switch with 5.1 and I intend to use the Emunand to keep my Nand clear.

The question is: Can I update to 6.2 (and eventually install that exFAT driver that currently I don't have) or should I keep the software at 5.1?

I though that keeping the firmware at lower version would help with homebrews etc. but after reading online I'm not so sure about it.
What do you suggest guys?

- Keep NAND on 5.1 (You can "reinstall it" by ChoidjourNX with ExFat support).
- Boot SX OS 2.4
- Install emunand
- Activate emunand (Emunand Enabled in main SX OS options menu)
- Upate Emunand by using ChoiDjourNX. to 6.2 (ExFat version and AutoRCM DISABLED).

Nand = 5.1 with no burnt fuses
EmuNand = fully compatible 6.2

I'm using it this way - no issues so far.

Ok, but is there any reasons to not just update the OFW to 6.2 before all the procedure?
