Update Problems

When I try to update the program from Beta (5) to (7) I just get a failure and the log says:

System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable

I get this on two systems. All the other file downloads seem to work fine. Is there a beta 7 download link?

Download a clean copy of J-Runner and make sure you extract it to a folder that is not read-only.

Make sure you grant access for J-Runner in your Anti-Virus software and/or firewall.

I have done all those things, fresh download and extraction, disabled my antivirus completely and I always get the error with the updater. Is it possible to just get a beta 7 exe?

It's still set as read only it sounds like. Right click on the folder and check properties. Make sure nothing is set as read only.
