Update SXOS Emunand from album menu?

I'm guessing that when newer revisions of SXOS come out I'll be able to update my emunand by
selecting the update sxos option in the album menu? Is it that simple or are other steps required?
Emunand is in sd files if that makes a difference.

Updating firmware will require using Choidujournx

Ok, is it used to upgrade the system firmware or CFW, or both?
Also what does the "update sxos" option in the album menu do then?
