RGH Update to 2.0.14699.0 before RGH ?

ANSWERED: Hello and sorry if my question has been answered before.I just couldn't find it...
I'm about to perform RGH , and wonder if it's better /easy and safe/ to update the board to 2.0.14699.0 before the operation. I'm interested on this version, because it's the major update,who brings stuffs like 3D and other real improvements.
I'm currently on 2.0.13604.0 /Trinity Slim/
One more time , I'm sorry if I missed this part and excuse my English :)

As Martin said, it doesn't make a difference.

When you update the console's dashboard, the only thing that changes (of significance) is the LDV and as Goldensavage said, we can now glitch slims on any dashboard version.

Thank you so much for the fast responses :) I just thought, that it's much easy to update the stock MB instead of RGH-ed one. Am I right , or it's the same procedure ? I'll no longer bother you with these questions :)

You can always update to a newer dash by generating a new hacked image. No need to go back to stock, update, then glitch again. I think that's what you're asking?

Also, you cam always update to a newer dash using xell. You don't need to use a nand writer for future dash updates.

And why is that ? I'll get my dvd nuked or ? 13604 doesn't support 3D as I know and I also have Kinect which is improved with 14699 ... Correct me if I'm wrong please. I also wouldn't bother to update it this update is not important ? Thanks in advance :)
