Update to latest dash before installing Jtag ?

Hi,
I have not done a jtag in some time and was wondering should i update to the latest dashboard before i install it ?

Oh and i will be using the RGH on a Falcon not the oldskool way.

Yes,using a coolrunner.Just wanted to make sure it was ok to put the latest dash on it before i started

The dash the unit is on is 9199 i thought it would be nice to have the latest dash but was not sure if its safe
