Ok, I have been searching around on here and on xboxscene for the answer. I think I know the problem but I figured I would ask to make sure I was right.
I just installed my X3CE. It was a very simple process and the flashbios 3.0.1 came up fine. I followed all the tutorials and used the X3_3294 bios. The disc worked flawlessly. It did all the steps. It erased then flashed then turned off on it’s own. I then went to boot up and it just frags.
I have a 1.6 with the pin header install and the lpc rebuild.
Overall this product is amazing. The quality of this chip is excellent. And all the tutorials and everything really made it an easy process to deal with.
From what I gather from other posts, it is my soldering. I am no expert at soldering. I will be opening her up tomorrow to see what all my voltages are to check against the list I have found of what they should be.
If it matters. The disc was done with Nero6, followed the steps exactly. And it was put onto a verbatim cd-rw. Please let me know if there is anything else I have overlooked in the process.
