I flashed my console to 14699 retail to update it to 14717 and it appeared to fail the update because it didnt reboot and got rrod. So I re flashed it to back to 14699  and realized that I should of dumped the nand talk about a brain fart. Now none of my original nand dumps work anymore because now I dont have a nanddump with updated cb's (5773). Any ideas? Is there a way to manually edit my nanddump to get it to work with my updated cb?

It was working with 14699 and I did the official M$ update online and it froze after the update. So I stupidly thought that maybe Ill try the update again and didnt redump the nand like a smart person would of done. Ive been beating myself up with this issue since yesterday because now my 360 cb version is 5773 with no nand only got backups of 5771 old nands.

So you've had an efuse blown for the new CB therefore you can only boot retail 14717 now.

If you still have your CPU key I'd have thought you should be able to build a 14717 retail NAND with multibuilder 0.8

Yeah but the problem is that multibuilder needs a nanddump with that same cb as dash 14717 in my case is 5773 and my backup nands are 5771.

Yes a log would be useful. I'm not at my PC so I can't check anything right now.

Also, is there a cb_a 5773 file in the 14717 folder?

No the highest is cb 5771 I believe its because 5773 hasnt been decrypted yet by TX but heres the log:

The error you're getting is 'can't read' not 'can't decrypt' and it's because these files are missing from the 14717 folder:

cba_5773.bin,b8849c79
cbb_5773.bin,4ee83ea3
cd_5773.bin,4fccf593

I believe they're only encrypted by CPU key and 1BL key so should be straightforward for those who have the tools.

In fact, your luck's in

Edit: I just added all the necessary bootloader for Retail 14717 image creation for all boards models, I'll release the updated version soon, I just need to automate the correct CF LDV value in the created image.

Cheers

Or unless you can get hold of them another way and just stick them in your 14717 folder.

They're all on your console right now actually. You should be able to dump your current nand and extract the files using 360 flash tool, but I'm not sure if you can also decrypt them with that too.

Maybe someone else can advise.

If I had them on my console already this thread wouldnt of been opened.
